Bank Heists in Monopoly GO! don't start when the vault doors pop up. They start a few rolls earlier, when you're looking at the board and deciding whether it's worth pushing your multiplier. That's why the Corner Strategy has caught on with players who care about dice value, cash, tournaments, and even side goals like collecting Monopoly Go Stickers through event rewards. The idea isn't magic. It's just paying attention to where you are. Corners, Railroads, and event tiles often sit close enough together that a smart roll can give you more than one kind of progress. If you're rolling big in the wrong part of the board, you're probably just feeding the game your dice.

The four corners shape the rhythm of the board. GO, Jail, Free Parking, and Go To Jail aren't just spaces you pass now and then. They break up the route and help you judge what's coming next. Railroads sit at regular points around the board, so after a while you start to notice the same little windows. You might be five, six, or seven spaces away from a Railroad, with a corner nearby as a backup hit. That's the kind of spot where many players raise the multiplier. Not every time, of course. Bad rolls happen. But you're putting pressure on the better part of the dice curve instead of firing high rolls into empty stretches.

A lot of newer players make the same mistake. They get a pile of dice and keep the multiplier high because it feels exciting. Then ten minutes later, it's gone. More experienced players tend to roll low through dull parts of the board and only go harder when the next few spaces have real value. Six to eight spaces from a Railroad is a common trigger point, especially if a tournament is active. If a Corners event is running too, the choice gets even better. You're not guaranteed a Heist, but you're giving each expensive roll a job. That's the whole difference. One style burns dice. The other keeps you moving.

Mega Heist boosts are where patience pays off. A normal Bank Heist can be nice, but a Mega Heist with a strong multiplier can change your cash balance fast. That's why plenty of players hold back dice until the boost appears instead of playing nonstop all day. Some won't even claim certain rewards right away if they know a better window is coming. It sounds fussy, but it makes sense. Monopoly GO! throws a lot of short events at you, and the best results usually come from stacking them. A Railroad tournament, a Corners banner, and a Mega Heist boost together can turn one good board cycle into a much bigger payout.

Players still argue about the Heist screen itself. You'll hear people swear by tapping the corners first, opening the middle row, or following some odd pattern they've used for months. It's part habit, part superstition, and honestly, part fun. Still, most testing shared by the community points in one direction: the result is likely set before you finish tapping the vault doors. So the real skill probably isn't in choosing which door to open. It's in getting more chances to reach that screen in the first place. That means better positioning, cleaner multiplier use, and not chasing every roll like it has to be a win.

The Corner Strategy works because it slows you down just enough to think. You watch your distance, save your big rolls for useful clusters, and try to line up events instead of treating each one separately. It won't remove luck, and it won't make every Railroad land as a Bank Heist. But over time, it helps you keep more dice, hit more scoring tiles, and make better use of limited boosts. Players who also care about album progress may look at event rewards, trades, and resources such as Monopoly Go Stickers for sale while planning their sessions, because in this game, the smartest gains usually come from making several systems work together.
